Greatest Possible Error
Remember that the Greatest Possible Error (GPE) is basically just HALF A UNIT, each side of the unit of measure.

Significant Digits
Remember that when you are adding, subtracting, multiplying, etc. that the final answer should be rounded to the least number of significant digits. For example,
2.13 (3 significant digits)
+5.1 (2 sig. digits)
=7.23, but I need to round so that it's only 2 significant digits, so the answer is 7.2
